What is direct deposit?

Direct deposit is a payment option where your funds are electronically transferred into a bank account rather than through a paper check.

What type of information do I need to provide to my employer or benefits provider in order to set up direct deposit?

You will need to provide your employer with your anda Bank Account number and routing number. In order to set up direct deposit for your benefits please visit godirect.gov/gpw/enrollment. You will need to provide your benefits check amount, check number or claim number, paying agency, and payment type.

Where can I find my anda Bank Account number and routing information to set up direct deposit?

Log in to your anda Bank Account online or in the app. You can find your account number and routing information when you tap the 3 dots on the Account overview screen.

My employer is requesting the bank name for direct deposit sign up. What is it?

The bank name is MetaBank®, N.A.

My employer is requesting the account type for direct deposit sign up. What is it?

Enter “checking” for account type when signing up for direct deposit.

Can I receive direct deposit from more than one employer or benefits provider?

Yes.

How long does it take to receive my first direct deposit?

It may take up to 2 pay cycles to receive your first deposit. We will only be able to deposit your payment if the name on file with your employer or benefits provider matches what is on your anda Bank Account.

Do I have to direct deposit my entire pay or benefit check to my anda Bank Account?

You can decide how much of your paycheck to allocate to your account when you sign up for direct deposit. When signing up for direct deposit indicate if you want your entire check amount, percentage of check or a fixed amount deposited per pay period. Make sure the name on file with your employer matches the name on your anda Bank Account. When you sign up for direct deposit with your benefits provider, the check amount will be deposited into your account. When completing this enrollment all names and addresses must be entered exactly as it appears on the government benefit check even if the information is incorrect.

How do I know if my direct deposit is in my account?

Review your transaction history to see deposit activity.

Can I transfer money into my anda Bank Account from payment apps?

Yes.

How do I set up a payment app transfer?

Manually add your anda Bank Account directly in the payment app by entering your account and routing numbers.
